TAAVac (Tumor Associated Antigen Vaccines) is BT PHARMA’s second therapeutic vaccine programme. TAAVac is currently in the research phase: lead candidates have been selected and are currently being tested for the treatment of a range of human cancers. In particular, the company is focusing its efforts on cancers of high medical needs such as cancers of the digestive and respiratory tracts which are the most common and devastating cancers in Europe today.

This TAAVac therapeutic programme obtained the support of the ANR (Agence National de la Recherche) in 2005 highlighting the innovative approach of BT PHARMA to adress this high unmet medical need in the field of cancer.
